not LBP.....while LBP does allow you to create your own objects and items, the FC2 editor allows endless possibilities as long as you're mildly creative. The FC2 team took the original editor from Far Cry Instincts and gave it one massive kick to give us (the gamers) something incredible to take full advantage of. Thus far, I've yet to see one single level done with the LBP editor that evens compares to these maps created with the FC2 editor. The nice thing is that both PS3 and 360 owners will be able to have this amazing editor at their disposal.
say what you will, but this is one VERY impressive editor for not requiring ANY programming knowledge one bit. Easy to use and offers endless options for online play as long as your imagination doesn't run dry. Far Cry 2 Editor sets a new standard for ...

To tell you the truth...I think the fact that the LBP editor can do basic scripting puts it way above the Far Cry 2 editor....not that it matters to...im mostly a PC gamer, and neither of these editors is really anything special to me.

I am still playing TimeSplitters and making great maps. That and Neverwinter Knights.LBP's other thing, is sharing those maps, something XBLive won't allow. Has this changed with FarCry 2?
scripting isn't needed for an online FPS while it is needed quite heavily in modern platformers. if the FC2 editor were to allow you to create single player levels, I'm sure scripting would easily be implimented.edit: the space given to the user in FC2 could easily be used to create massive single player levels so it's in the rhelm of possibility. Look at the first couple pics and look for any automobile. Now, picture a single character standing next to that and you can see just how huge the area is. Easily this is 4x as much space to build a level compared to FC: Instincts Preditor.
Far Cry 2 looks amazingLBP looks way to childish! and going by the gameplay BORING!
What portions of Half Life 2 online used scripting and for what modes are you talking about? FC2 is about as generic as EVERY single FPS title this gen for MP so I'm simply curious as to what modes you claim require scripting when ONLINE MP is concerned.
