I guess majority of posters will probably obliterate it, but I really enjoyed Boiling Point: Road to Hell, I think it was very ambitious game that could have benefited from more polish and eradication of some minor bugs and annoyances, well, most of them were later addressed with patch anyway. As a fan of System Shock and Deus Ex, I got immediately hooked by this game, and if White Gold: War in Paradise (a sequel to Boiling Point) will remove all bugs found in Boiling Point and won't include any new (and devs stated that this time it's the top priority for them before the game will be out). Well, the Russian version will be out in Commonwealth of Independent States (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, etc.) on 24th of October. One dev has said on the official forum:''I have to tell you, November release will be just for CIS gamers and on PC platform. Western release should be later - nobody can tell when exactly, but maybe it happens with simultaneously, i mean PC and xbox 360 release.
That is true.
So, who want Russian version of game? - Welcome to Kiev, Moskow, etc. ''[...] ''Hi, all!!!
Release circumstances: DS sent gold build for printing last saturday. It's still for CIS public. There are some reasons for such deeds - DS is limited by time and publisher's agreement. As well Fallout world release isn't good reason for WG release.
I saw that haste and sad faces of devs who gave the game for relese. I can say the one - it's better wait for more, then buy the game of November CIS release. Everything must be perfect concerning western release.''As for Precursors, I can't wait too. It will be a combination of space exploring and combat game, a'la X3: Reunion (I don't know if economics will play a factor here) for example, (or any X game from the series) but with ability to travel and visit planets and explore them on foot, the game would then assume a first person perspective. It will be also a free-roaming game in its nature. Needless to say that it will have RPG elements to it. Like White Gold, it also will be out on PC and Xbox 360. The release date is currently unknown, but I guess it will be somewhere between first and second quarter of 2009. It seems like the game is full of win: space simulation + ability to land on planets = win (of course, if done properly). I always dreamed of something like that. So, what's your say?
