Ok, so I owned a PS1 from 1998 to 2002. It was an awesome period in gaming for me. Then I had a gaming PC from 2002 to 2008 (well, still have it anyways, but I don't plan buying any upgrades for it, probably ever - I can still play STALKER, Crysis or The Witcher), and from June of 2008 I have 360. It was a conscious decision and sentiments were not a factor in it. So, who else owned a Sony console and then switched to Xbox? (any gen)So who else jumped from Sony's boat to M ...
not me, i jumped from xbox to 360 to PS3. loving the ps3 atm. thinking about selling my 360 so i can get a new graphics card. but i wont do that until i played GEOW 2.So who else jumped from Sony's boat to M ...
No reason yet, i was a Sony gamer too and built a gaming PC a few years ago. I found most 360 games make it to PC so found no reason to buy one.
(raises hand) i had a PS1 and a PS2, this gen i switched to the 360, no regrets here, very few PS3 games appeal to me
Well I own all systems. So what does that mean?
I own both but play my ps3 more as when I had ps2 and xbox...I played my ps2 more...and my xbox ...well like none...
I went PS1 -> PS2 -> Xbox -> Xbox 360 -> Wii -> PS3. I still have all of them apart from the Xbox, which I sold, believing that Xbox 360 would have decent backward-compatability... moorful me. I believe that I've had most fun on my PS3!

ive been mainly on the nintendo sony lineSNES>ps1>ps2>GBA>DS>wii>soon to be ps3? microsoft does look ok, but with the problems ive heard and added costs (internet, external wireless etc) would overall end up costing more than getting a ps3 and importing (when the stockmarket doesnt go bad)

I got an xbox 360 after my ps2 just because it was cheaper, after it broke down i sold it and bought a playstation 3, and no regrets. :) I'm only going to miss out mass effect 2, whenever that comes.Gears of war 2? meh.. if i want's to play it, i can probaly play it at my girlfriends cusins house when he gets his hands on a copy.:)
