....okay Well let alone at the end it says simply that sony gave them a dedicated store front *so we dont really trust capcoms word now after that* but let alone that last i checked xbox live had more users, more content, more timely content and better content..looks to me like microsoft did a good job. contrary to what the guy at capcom says.
Good for them? If LIVE is lacking, what is PSN? Silly Capcom.
Capcom: ''As far as Microsoft goes%26ndash;how can I say this diplomatically%26ndash;there are things I think they'd like to do to promote content in multiple ways, and I think they'll get there eventually%26hellip; but they're not there yet.''I don't see how Capcom is really dissing them, and if so would it really be worthwhile when they are talking about how each company promotes content, and not the content it self.
Honestly What can you do on xbox live that you cant do on PSN that is worth 50 dollars over Free
lol capcom thinks they deserve a storefront on live.. well keep dreaming capcom.
Good for them? If LIVE is lacking, what is PSN? Silly Capcom.
You're not seeing his point. He is speaking from the perspective of a publisher, not that of a consumer. For consumers, as far as functionality is concerned, Xbox Live is certainly a few steps ahead of PSN. However, for publishers, like the Capcom representative is saying, PSN offers a more appealing model of commerce and distribution. Capcom is not the only developer/publisher to publicly voice this notion.Ultimately, unless Microsoft eases some of the restrictions it places on digitally distributed content, you're going to see more and more publishers migrate to PSN. Additionally, you cannot ignore the fact that Miscrosoft still charges upwards of $50 a year for a service that is, arguably, only marginally better than its leading competitor, a service that continues to close the gap with each additional, and frequent, update. The bottom line is that Microsoft needs to make some changes to its digital distribution model.

MS has only confirmed numbers for all users of XBL, but no numbers for subcribers only. If you have that, please provide it. kthxbye.
I think xbox live puts more restrictions how big you can make downloads based on what xbl charges for them where as sony does not go to that extent. As with sony you make a dlc game as big as you want and charge what you want for it. With xbl they have certains things laid out that if you make things bigger than what they are your going to have to get them to agree with what your doing. If I remember correctly its xbl that is limiting the size of SF2HD remix.
Playstation Store > XBL MarketPlace PSN < XBLthats my opinionI like Playstation store over the market place but I like cross game chat on xbl over the psn
Gee, why would they say something like that?''It should also be noted that Sony recently granted Capcom a branded PSN storefront (the first of its kind), allowing the publisher to pimp their wares without having other publishers cramping their space.''Oh ok. Got it now. Its business.
And how does THAT affect a publisher? Contradicting yourself. If other publishers have no gripes putting their content on Marketplace, how can Capcom complain? They are just showing their bias. And Marketplace is still a better ''model of commerce and distribution'' when you consider that ANYONE can make money off the service using XNA, end of story.

The TC has an awesome Username :o

It is hard to take Capcom seriously when they are making Dead Rising for Wii...
