Dead Space = WOW

Has anyone else noticed you can download either the Elite suit (FREE) or the Scorpion Suit (200 MS Points) off of XBL? Both offer more protection and inventory slots and look cool. I'm almost 1/3 into Chapter 2 and this game is blowing me away. Zero Gravity combat is cool, especially with flying body parts...Dead Space = WOW
I can't wait to get my hands on this game. Still have to wait a week.:cry:Dead Space = WOW
you can customize your suit?Thats it! Im buying Dead space!!!!
Yeah the zero-g parts are actually pretty awesome, you wait till you see the last chapter of the game and you'll just freak.Only game I've played that game close to scaring me this good was silent hill, the use of the camera is a big thing in setting the atmosphere but they way they did the mobs + sounds and environments = wicked. My only pet peeve with the whole experience was it was short, 13 hours was pretty good but the gave could have given so much more! Overall one of the best titles to date this year.
Sounds like I need to rent this
You guys should also try Hell's Highway. It has a good story and a few scary parts believe it or not.Anyway, I REALLY want Dead Space, but it looks too scary for me =(
I hear it's 10 hours long without rushing. >_>
I hear it's 10 hours long without rushing. >_>
I would say for your first time you aren't going to get under 10hours but after that with a new game+ you could easily do it.
I have to wait a week! WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT its in the shops everywhere else!So thats another week of work to get through before i can play this game, and oh no Far Cry 2, Dead Space, Fallout3, WOTLK, all come out at the same damn time almost and i still want the latest SC game!

it has new game+?

Does it let you set the game at double speed?
The length depends on what difficulty setting you start on. I started on the hard (hardest out of the box anyway) and the going is slow. Death has come to me often until I figure out which weapon combo is best for each new challenge. Anyway I am enjoying it as well and do not recommend it for the faint of heart...it will scare/freak you out!
If you enjoy survival horror games this is a MUST own. Loving this tltle thus far
On what setting? Try it on hard and let me know if it takes 10 hours to beat it. If it does I'm going to be ticked because I started a thread yesterday asking if this was a rental or buy game. Many said it was taking 1 or 2 hours per level on hard with 12 levels. So at least 15 hours if not 20. Which to me means it's a buy as I only want to play this game late at night and when I have time to get into it. However, 10 hours I can squeeze into 1 month which means rental.
Stumbled in here thinking you ment Dead space = world of warcraft lol.. anyways, yeah Dead Space is pretty cool, played it a bit at my brothers.

Nice and RED! :)And yes, you can customize your suit, your weapons, and your abilities (Stasis and Kinesis). The game is really good, and I highly recommend it to anyone that likes horror/sci-fi games.

I am also playing on the hardest setting, so you will take more time the first time through, you want to explore everything so you can pick up all the nodes you can as well as look at the text, audio, and video logs, and you will die.... so 1 to 2 hours per chapter has been about what I am currently running at, and I am on chapter 6.

I would like to use the force gun and blow her out into zero g...she is so annoying.
I wish this game came out 2 months ago, when I didnt have to worry about saving money for the 495723490 other games I want to buy this holiday

Loving it, and I'm now considering buyign this game, the only draw back is no multiplayer, but then again, the visuals and audio are so well done, it has its freaky moments too. Now my next problem, is $$$$$.... where to scrounge some up to buy all of these hits coming out.
Pretty sure I need to get this game immediately... but I hardly have time for gaming! :( Two Bio exams and a music video are due next Thursday, rest of the show here and then auditions for the next one Tuesday and Wednesday... ugh... But I really want this game; I need a good, new title I think. Plus, I've always been looking for a scary game that I like the controls for.
