SHEEP Weigh In! Media Molecule Does What ...

What Should Ninten-Do?
Article about the game Nintendo should have made. I LOVE Ninty, but reality is reality. Nintendo has brought me so many amazing titles over the years and they still are. But don't you think that this is the game they should have made? The only reason my Wii hangs around is because of my inner fanboy love for Nintendo, Zelda, and Mario. (I admit I used to be somewhat of a sheep years ago but I always loved all consoles). I'm glad it's on the PS3 though, and I'm sure it will be a killer app. Props to Sony for snagging it up. Now they need to buy MM!Now that it is the new face of Playstation brand, I couldn't see it anywhere else. I feel that MM, as developers, rival Nintendo's creativity and fun factor.Even Reggie says LBP belongs on the Wii (no really, he actually said that).
EDIT 1: It has just come to my attention that Sony did acquire MM :P.EDIT 2: Sheep what do you think of LBP? Does it interest you?EDIT 3: Before anymore hostilty... I didn't mean it like that. I'm only saying that MM has implemented the level of creativity and fun factor that Ninty normally brings to the table. MM has shown that they can make a game that would be equal to a Nintedo quality experience.EDIT 4: MM is not owned by Sony :P. SHEEP Weigh In! Media Molecule Does What ...
I though Sony already owned Media Molecule SHEEP Weigh In! Media Molecule Does What ...
Sony did buy Media Molecule.EDIT: I may be wrong here. I could have sworn I read a story about Sony acquiring them a while back, but I cannot find it anymore.
Yeah, and Ninty better not screw up Animal Crossing! I feel like it's gonna be just like the GCN version but with some waggle.EDIT: Since Sony bought MM, it further adds to their ever growing and deep 1st party family.
I though Sony already owned Media Molecule
They do? Good news if true! I thought they only had a publishing deal with them.
Personally, I'm glad Nintendo did NOT make LittleBigPlanet. The whole point of the game is to create stuff share it with friends online. It would have been a disaster on the Nintendo Wii.

LBP is the only game I want to play on PS3 this year. Hopefully one of my friends get it, because I'm not buying a PS3 for one game.
Hold up. I was completely wrong and I appologize. While Sony is actively promoting LittleBigPlanet these days, there aren't any plans for Media Molecule to be acquired by Sony and their exclusivity deal for working with Sony is time limited. LINK

Imagine if Nintendo had made this game...Just replace all the default characters with Nintendo ones and all the default backgrounds and custom objects etc with Nintendo designs...

I think that could have been sooooo magical.

I honestly thought this was the kind of thing Nintendo had in mind when I first heard about the Revolution but alas it took a developer on PS3 to do what Nintendon't apparantly.
He has some excellent points. These days where Nintendo is believed to be the most innovative, not because they are great but because the competition is a train-wreck. Good to see MM turning the tide and innovating the old fashion way.
I feel that MM, as developers, rival Nintendo's creativity and fun factor.
Eh... no.
There is no way Nintendo would have made a game as ambitious as this in the online department. They showed that by just rehashing Animal Crossing.

Interesting. I think Sony might acquire them after seeing how LBP does.

I feel that MM, as developers, rival Nintendo's creativity and fun factor.
Eh... no.
I think they do as well. I am not convinced Ninty has much creativity outside Myamoto-san this generation. Rag-doll Kung-fu and LBP are delightfully creative ideas that are filled with whimsy, like most Ninty products used to be.

It'll be interesting to see how well it sells. Personally I think it'll be have success with reviews but not commercial success, but I really hope I'm wrong.
