Hated both :PMario vs Banjo for me. Banjo won. Spyro vs crash
Both were good series (when being made by Insomniac and Naughty Dog at least) but I always preferred the Crash series. I just downloaded the original Crash off of PSN for some good old fashioned nostalgia and it's aged better than I would have expected (even if it seems painfully archaic by today's standards :P).
I enjoyed Spyro when made by Insomiac because it being a free roaming game. My favourite was Spyro 2.
Crash is way better than spyro even comparing them is a joke
I probably liked Spyro a bit more at the time.
That being said, Banjo and Mario killed those two
Spyro 2 and 3 no contest,
The variety in enviroments and enemys alone makes it a clear winner
On top of that it was full of (secrets) clever platforming, minigames, hilarious script and alternate characters each with theyr own unique levels and gameplay to boot!

Not sure, both where great at one point but Spyro seems to be making a return in his new game.

The Spyro games on the PS1 were awesome. I love replaying those games. I liked Crash too but I never felt like playing them again after I beat them.
I only Liked the First Spyro... And I like Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped and Crash Team RacingEither way I love them both and I enjoy being able to play them on my PS3 and PSP...
